Consider a Resolution in support of the Municipal Association of South Carolina 2011-2012 Legislative Agenda.

The Municipal Association’s Board of Directors approved the 2011-2012 legislative agenda for cities and towns. The agenda focuses on four priorities that will allow cities and towns to better serve residents and businesses by increasing the flexibility of local elected leaders to meet local needs. The agenda also includes issues under the topics of economic development, fiscal concerns and public safety we have identified as priorities to support or oppose.
Council is asked to adopt a resolution in support of the agenda.
