Title

An ordinance to amend Chapter 29, Utilities, of the Code of the City of Rock Hill concerning Electric Rates. 

Body

This ordinance will raise Electric Rates 4% to partially cover our 8.3% Purchased Power Increase.  This will increase our average residential customer's monthly bill $4.04.  The 4% represents a reduction from the rate increase that staff previously proposed (5%) during the Budget Workshops.  Staff recommends approval of this item.
