This item provides for the adoption of the City of Rock Hill Classification/Compensation Study as recommended by the Archer Company and shared with the City Council during the workshop on April 26, 2012. The City periodically conducts such a review of its compensation system to maintain equity. Prior to this study, the most recent comprehensive review was conducted in the Year 2000. The study increases grade minimums and maximums to reflect current market rates and the FY 2013 Budget includes changes to effected employees' rates of pay effective August 1, 2012. Classification and Pay Grades are attached for your review. Staff recommends approval of this item.
