The Neighborhood Inspections Division is asking Council's approval for involuntary demolition of the following dwellings:
41 Sunset Drive, 222 Saluda Street, 261 Carroll Street, 522 Crosby Street, 239 Workman Street, 1122 Calhoun Street, 822 Cauthen Street.
These dwellings meet the requirements for condemnation. Numerous attempts were made to contact owners, most with no success. Others promised to make repairs and did not follow through. Once approved, a list of properties will be advertised two consecutive weeks in The Herald, and posted at City Hall for 30 days. Condemnation notices will be posted on the properties and liens filed to recoup costs.
