The City of Rock Hill is a member of the South Carolina Municipal Insurance Trust Fund (SCMIT). Our workers' compensation benefits are provided through SCMIT. In order to qualify to receive a 5% discount on our workers' compensation premium, the City must meet 80% of 29 guidelines. One of the guidelines requires the City to have the attached Safety Policy Statement signed by the Mayor and Council as a reaffirmation of our commitment to safe work practices. Council last signed a similar Resolution in 1987.
