Consider awarding a contract to ESP Associates, P.A. in the amount of $230,825 to develop updates to the Stormwater Master Plan.

Strategic Goal:  Update the Stormwater Master Plan.           

Body

Staff has requested qualifications, interviewed, and solicited proposals from two highly qualified firms to update the four master plans for the basins where the City of Rock Hill is located.  The firms will:

 

  • Develop updated master plans including modeling to evaluate existing conditions and the impact of new development within the City.
  • Identify solutions to improve current watershed conditions.
  • Time savings is realized by awarding contracts to two firms.
  • By assigning two basins to each firm, all four basins can be completed within a year.
  • Capital improvement plans will be developed for each basin.
  • Funding plans will be presented for consideration by City Council in future budget years.
