Consider approving Interlocal Waste Collection and Recycling Agreement between the City of Rock Hill and Rock Hill School District 3.

The City of Rock Hill and the Rock Hill School District 3 wish to enter into a five year Interlocal Agreement for the collection and disposal of solid waste and a comprehensive recycling program to promote the reduction in waste and increase the recycling program at the schools. The School District will pay the City a maximum of $140,000.00 for the collection and disposal of the solid waste and the City will provide the proceeds of the recycling back to the School District. Staff recommends that Council approve the contract with the School District for the solid waste and recycling program.
