Bev Carroll, Chair of Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation (RHEDC), will present RHEDC's economic development goals for 2011 (attached). These goals have been developed from input provided by the RHEDC Board at a series of meetings, beginning with the October 29 planning retreat and culminating in two special planning meetings in January. These goals were approved by the RHEDC Board on February 1 and are presented to City Council for endorsement. RHEDC's goals are not identical to the City's strategic goals, but generally support the City's goals. This is also an opportunity for RHEDC to communicate with City Council regarding emerging needs and priorities in economic development.
City Council is requested to endorse the goals presented by RHEDC.
