The Cycling Centers Partners Advisory Board on February 21, 2011 and the Public Parks and Recreation Commission on March 8, 2011 voted unanimously to recommend the “Rock Hill Outdoor Center” as the name of the recreational amenities at Riverwalk. The proposed name took marketing ideas as well as all the multi-purpose uses of the recreational opportunities upon finalizing this name.
