Strategic Goal: Implement the redevelopment plan for the Textile Corridor

Based on your discussion at the Bleachery workshop of January 13, 2011, staff is bringing forward this rezoning proposal to eliminate potential heavy industrial conflicts and prepare the remaining buildings on the Bleachery site for employment use. Staff met with affected property owners, and the attached memo documents the concerns heard. Pending Council sponsorship, the zoning proposal would be sent to the Planning Commission for recommendation prior to formal Council consideration.
