Body

The EPA has designated portions of York County as non-attainment areas.  The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (“DHEC”) intends to file a petition for reconsideration to the Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) to remove the non-attainment designation for all or portions of York County.  This item authorizes the City Manager to execute the Petition for Reconsideration (“Petition”) on behalf of the City of Rock Hill in conjunction with DHEC and other governmental entities within York County.
