Hold public hearing on Vision 2020: The Comprehensive Plan for Rock Hill.

Pursuant to the South Carolina Comprehensive Planning Act of 1994, as amended, the City must update its comprehensive plan every ten years. For Rock Hill, a plan update must be completed by December 2010.
Over the last two years, staff has been working closely with the community to develop one of the City's most important plans for the future - the Vision 2020 Comprehensive Plan. Guided by a citizen Steering Committee and a comprehensive public involvement plan, this 10-year plan update provides the vision and policy framework to guide decisions that will affect Rock Hill for the next ten years and beyond. The Comprehensive Plan is required to include a Future Land Use Map to guide future decisions regarding growth and development.
