Staff is requesting that the City Council sponsor a set of Zoning Ordinance amendments to address additional concerns about the impact of land use separation requirements, particularly on existing buildings. Based on the history of related items considered by the Zoning Board of Appeals, the proposal includes both elimination or modification of certain requirements. An initial draft is attached, but as with all sponsorships the proposal will be referred to the Planning Commission and refined prior to being returned to City Council for formal consideration.
