Title

An ordinance authorizing the City of Rock Hill, South Carolina, to execute and deliver an Equipment Lease Purchase Agreement, 2009, in the amount of not exceeding $715,000 between the City and the lessor thereof to defray the cost of acquiring certain equipment; and other matters relating thereto. 

Body

This ordinance provides for the lease purchase financing of one fire apparatus for the new Airport Fire Station and twelve police vehicles for the new police officers that were added this fiscal year.  This is a limited equipment lease purchase agreement for Fiscal Year 2010.  Other equipment scheduled for replacement was deferred as a component of our budget reducing strategies for Fiscal Year 2010.  Pertinent information is attached for your review.
